Michael Gadermayr

About Me:
I am a PhD student in the wavelab group. I am currently working on methods to improve the performance of texture classification systems. Special focus is on making methods robust to specific kinds of degradations which are prevalent in real world image data. Whereas recent work is mostly based on the idea of making feature vectors invariant (or robust) to degradations, in our work additionally different stategies are proposed and investigated.

Research Interests:
My main research interests are in the fields of texture analysis as well as machine learning.
