PLUS-SynFP Dataset Collection - Download Page

This is "The Multimedia Signal Processing and Security Lab", short WaveLab, website. We are a research group at the Artificial Intelligence and Human Interfaces (AIHI) Department of the University of Salzburg led by Andreas Uhl. Our research is focused on Visual Data Processing and associated security questions. Most of our work is currently concentrated on Biometrics, Media Forensics and Media Security, Medical Image and Video Analysis, and application oriented fundamental research in digital humanities, individualised aquaculture and sustainable wood industry.

PLUS Synthetic Fingerprint Dataset Collection

The PLUS-SynFP provides a collection of synthetic fingerprint datasets created by our group.
Currently the collection provides the following two datasets:

Synth-RealScanG1
A dataset composed of 50k non-mated FP impressions created with a StyleGAN2-ADA model. The model was train on data from the PLUS-RealScanG1 sensor provided in the PLUS-MSL-FP dataset.

Synth-RealScanG1-mated
Five sets of mated fingerprints created from the Synth-RealScanG1 dataset. Each set is composed of 100 fingers and 5 impressions per finger. Mated samples were created using the mating approach detailed in [TODO].
